APN Project Workshop in Bangkok, Thailand

GOES research scientist, Jay Samek, leads APN project (ARCP-2009-09-Skole) Workshop on "Developing Agroforestry Carbon Offset Protocols for Carbon Financial Markets" in Bangkok, Thailand, March 15-17, 2010, with co-Investigators from the National Research Council of Thailand, the Faculty of Forestry, National University of Laos, and the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Vietnam. Climate Change Symposium - Southeast Asia Visiting Scientists

“Climate Change, Forests and Farmers: Global Perspectives and Projects at MSU” Symposium 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Room 303 International Center, Michigan State University. The Global Observatory for Ecosystem Service (GOES), Department of Forestry at MSU is hosting a team of eleven visiting scientist from Southeast Asia, May 12 – 19, 2010. Presenters at this symposium include colleagues from universities in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam and from the National Research Council of Thailand, as well as MSU-GOES, Department of Forestry research scientists.
